Brooke Christa Shields (born May 31, 1965) is a famous American actress and model. She was 12 when she was a child model. She was praised by critics for her role in Louis Malle’s 1978 film Pretty Baby (1978). She continued to model into her teen yearsand was recognized for her performance in the film of Louis Malle's Pretty Baby. Shields started acting again in the early 1990s, and was seen in a few minor parts in movies. She was also a mainstay in the NBC sitcoms Suddenly Susan (1996-192000), for which she won two Golden Globe nominations and Lipstick Jungle (2008)-2009. Shields was back on NBC in 2017, reprising her role as a major regular character in Law & Order: Special Victims Unified's 19th season. Since 2014, Shields has voiced Beverly Goodman in the Adult Swim animated series Mr. Pickles and its spinoff Momma Named Me Sheriff. Brooke Christa Shields is a New Yorker who was born May 31, 1965 in Manhattan. She is the daughter and businessman Frank Shields (1941-1903). According to the work of William Addams-Reitwiesner, Shields is related to a number noble families from Italy and particularly Genoa as well as Rome. These are namely (in chronological order of descent from 1355 to 1965) the Gattilusi-Palaiologos-Savoy, Grimaldi, Imperiali, Carafa, Doria, Doria-Pamphili-Landi, Chigi-Albani, and Torlonia dynasties. Marina Torlonia of Civitella Cisi di Civitella Cisi was the Italian noblewoman and the daughter of the American prince was Teri's paternal grandma. Her uncle was Alessandro Torlonia from Italy, who was married to Infanta Beatriz of Spain. Teri's family paid Frank the sum of money to end her pregnancy.
