Milana

Milana Aleksandrovna Vayntrub is an American comedian, actress, and activist. She was born to Jewish parents in the Soviet Union and started her career as child actress after she immigrated to the United States. From 2013 until 2016 she worked as the AT&T salesperson Lily Adams, and since 2020. She rose to fame for her roles in television commercials. Her commercial appearances were not the only thing she appeared in. She was also a part of the Yahoo! Screen science-fiction show Other Space (2015). She also played regularly featured in the NBC drama This Is Us 2016-2017. Vayntrub is also the voice of Squirrel girl on Marvel Rising since 2018, after she was cast in the TV pilot that was never aired New Warriors. Vayntrub was born in Tashkent, Uzbek Soviet Socialist Republic, USSR, and is Jewish. She and her parents fled antisemitism at the age of two. They moved to West Hollywood. Her family's financial difficulties caused her to be a part of Mattel Barbie commercials from the age of 5. Vayntrub briefly was a student at Beverly Hills High School. She quit her sophomore year and obtained the GED. After that, she went on to receive a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Communication from University of California San Diego. She was a member of the Upright Citizens Brigade, and was a student of the art of improv comedy.
