Anna Silk was born in Fredericton as the child of Peter Silk, an academic as well as Ilkay Silk, who is an actress director, producer, playwright, teacher, as well as Director of Drama at St. Thomas University. Anna was born in Fredericton and is the child of Peter Silk and Ilkay Silk. Her mother is a "English-Turkish Cypriot ex-pat" who hails originally from Britain. Anna remembers attending the rehearsals of performances as a kid and watching her mom working. In her early years Anna appeared in a number of commercials on television. They were married civilly in December of that year and then renewed their vows during a Jewish ceremony in Fredericton, in April 2011. Bo's love affair with Lauren who was played by Zoie Parker, was featured on CNN's list of the Top Television Couples from all time and named as E!'s Top Television Couple in 2013.
