Emily Bett Rickards (born July 24, 1992) is a Canadian actress. She has portrayed Felicity as Felicity in The CW Television Series Arrow. Rickards grew up in British Columbia. In her early years, she started her career by exploring musical theater. She then moved on to dance. In later years, she was hoping to try the world of serious acting. She completed her Acting Essentials Program in the Vancouver Film School after graduating from high school. When she had completed the course and auditioned, she attended an audition for open casting and was signed. Alida Vocal Studio was her home for her studies in Vancouver. Originally signed as a one-episode guest star, her chemistry with show's co-star Stephen Amell coupled with positive fan reaction as well as her humorous quips resulted in her being first signed as a recurring co-star in the rest of the first season.
