Ana Isabelle Bio

Ana Isabel Acevedo Aviles was born in Puerto Rico. It is her profession to be a performer, actress, and dancer. In December 2007, she released Por El Amor, and she was awarded the Univision award for Viva el Sueno. Ana Isabelle was unstoppable when she landed Steven Spielberg's West Side Story re-make in New York City as Rosalia. The veteran cast of film joined her in Imprisoned starring Laurence Fishburne and co-starred in the remake of Coppola's "Dementia 13". Ana's US Television debut was in Seasons Of Love, opposite Taraji P. Henson and Gladys Knight. She also was in Coppola's remake of "Dementia 13". Her other television credits include Younger, Strangers and Big Dogs. She made her New York Stage Debut Off Broadway in the Musical I Like it Like That with Tito Nieves and won Broadway Worlds Regional Award for Best Actress both for her performance as Eva Peron in Asolo Repertory Theatre Evita and Anita in Guthrie Theatre's West Side Story. The actress has performed for packed audiences as a soloist, and also in duets in Carnegie Hall with Gilberto Santa Rosa, Luis Fonsi, Luis Feliciano, and Citifield, singing the Star-Spangled Banner, for the NY Mets. Ana Isabelle has three highly popular Latin American as well as US albums. She captured the hearts of nearly 30 million Latinos on Viva el Sueno which was a Univision reality TV show about music in which she was crowned the hottest Latin singer. Billboard Magazine has called Ana Isabelle as an "Artist to be Watching".
