Annika Sorenstam competes in professional golf in Sweden. She is regarded as one of the most accomplished female golfers of all time. Annika Sorenstam was the winner of more than 90 international professional golf championships prior to her retirement at the end of 2008's golf season. She has also won another 18 tournaments around the world. Annika was born 9th October 1970 and turned 50 in the year 2020. Tom Gunilla and Tom Gunilla are her parents. Tom worked as an IBM executive and her mother has been working in the banking sector. There is a sister that is a golf pro and a coach for Annika Academy. Both were the first sisters to earn one million dollars from the LPGA. Mike McGee is her husband and they have two kids, Madelyn McGee & William Nicholas McGee. Annika McGee got married to Mike on 10th Jan 2009. Annika is a natural golfer has excelled at the game since she was a child. She also played soccer and junior tennis national player. Her family opted to move to Sweden to pursue this profession because she was also very skilled at skiing. In 1994 she became a qualifier to play in the LPGA Final Tournament and won the very first professional event of her career, ALPG Tour Australia. She was named LPGA rookie of this year, after she finished third in the rankings. Annika's breakout came in 1995, when she took the title in The US Women Open LPGA tour. She was the sole non-American winner of the Vare trophy. Annika also ranked as the number one on the list of Money's top performers. She decided not to continue competing in the 2008 competition.
